For over 24 years Master Brown has been nurturing children like yours with character building tools found only in Tae Kwon Do. Master Brown’s ability to make children feel comfortable in the studio enables her to teach them more effectively. You as parents know that, when your child is in a comfortable yet structured atmosphere they are more likely to pay attention and really want to learn.
Our children’s program is designed to motivate children through frequent praise and encouragement. With a motivated child we are able to build up true self-confidence and high self-esteem. Classes are both fun and demanding. We combine respectful discipline with friendly, hands on approach. Children train side by side with other to develop cooperation skills and encourage friendships that will last.
Hanmi Tae Kwon Do’s Black Belt Club is dedicated to the principles of Black Belt excellence and the achievement of the most recognized and respected martial arts rank Black Belt. When students join the Black Belt Club the y demonstrate their dedication to their instructor and our school. This commitment entitles them to a special class each week just for Black Belt Club members and our signature Red, Black Belt Club Uniform. The BBC class reinforces the basic curriculum for each belt rank and introduces techniques and games, which are not part of a regular Tae Kwon Do class curriculum. Master Brown and our instructors are willing to commit to providing you with the leadership, guidance and skills necessary to get you to your Black Belt. The rest is up to you.
Our classes are conducted in a traditional manner. We focus on respect, courtesy and discipline. The program helps provide better health, promotes higher standards of living and gives the extra motivation you need to reach your goals inside and outside of the studio. You will physically enhance your flexibility, strength and coordination. The beauty of Tae Kwon Do training is that it’s never too late to start.
Our junior’s classes are designed specifically for certain age groups to keep the interest and motivation high and consistent. Your son or daughter will not be mixed in with the preschoolers or the adults. We strive to give juniors the skills necessary to succeed outside of the Hanmi Tae Kwon Do studio. Our program will install a positive attitude, confidence and respect for themselves and others.
We believe your journey does not end after you reach certain levels. Black Belt is a new beginning. That is why we have classes specifically for black belt students to supplement their regular training and make sure they continue to learn and grow as martial artists. We understand how important it is to keep students motivated, with a class just for our black belts we can keep their training up beat and interesting. Our black belts are very important members of our school. They have shown their dedication to Tae Kwon Do by earning this rank. Hanmi Tae Kwon Do acknowledges this by offering this class.
Our high quality program provides parents with a safe place of their children to stay while they finish up their workday. Parents and children enjoy the added benefits of Tae Kwon Do lessons.

Hanmi Tae Kwon Do After School Program is a week-to-week program that takes the place of extended day or babysitting. We provide more than just quality care and academic support we teach your child martial arts.
In our exclusive After School Martial Arts Program we provide safe transportation from local schools to our Tae Kwon Do studio where children will enjoy a fun filled afternoon of martial art classes and structured time.
